Results of audience research- Graphs & Charts

The bar chart above shows the results which I got when I asked the question 'How old are you?' from my questionnaire to a total of 10 people. Out of the 10 people I asked, half (5) seemed to be aged 12-20 and so were of a younger age. With ages 21-30, 41-50, & 51-60 there was 1 person only for each age group who were of an age within this range. There was no one aged between 31-40 and 2 people out of the 10 asked were older than the age ranges I provided on the questionnaire.

The pie chart above shows the results which I got when I aksed the question 'What is your gender?'. After asking a total of 10 people my created questionnaire, it turned out that 6 were male and 4 were female.

The bar chart above shows the results I got when I asked the question 'Are you interested in horror movies?'. It seemed that out of the 10 people I asked 4 males said they like horror movies with 2 males saying they didn't. It also shew that 3 females liked horror movies where there was only 1 female who didn't.

Plan of my poster

Shown above is a plan for my poster for our film- Torment. Again it was very important that I had a plan of how I wanted my creation to be. I sketched about the main photograph on the poster which was a close up image of one of the characters from our film- Oscar. At the top of the poster above of the main image I placed the title reading -TORMENT and underneath this I included some kind of tagline reading 'will you escape' which gives the viewer a slight insight to the film's story. Above the main title on the poster I placed text with information about the directors of the film which is another high attraction to viewers. Moving on further above of this I included the names of the characters in the movie. This is of high importance on a film poster. Towards the bottom of the poster I included the credits about the creation of the film. Underneath this in much more of a smaller print I decided to include the logos of production companies, the movies website, and also text reading 'COMING SOON' to tease spectators about the release of the movie. Something else which I included on the poster was the classification which was a '15'. This is also very important.

Plan of my magazine front cover

Shown above is a plan which I drew for my magazine cover. Of course I created my final magazine cover digitally in Photoshop but it was very important that I created a plan first so I had an idea of how I wanted my creation to be.

As shown I added the masthead which reads: Total Film- which is of course is the make of the magazine. I then included a sketch of the main photograph which was the main girl from our movie- Layna. Either side of the main photograph I wrote in the individual coverlines which would be present on the magazine. I also shew the what the main coverline would read which is of course- TORMENT' and placed this at the bottom of the magazine. Underneath the main coverline I decided to place in some more text telling viewers what other content is present inside of the magazine. On my plan of my magazine front cover I also worked out where the barcode would be placed which is in the middle on the right hand side of the magazine. I also would place another attraction by showing that readers could win £50,000 in a competition. Above the masthead I also included further text about that particular magazine and that it is a horror special.  I originally had an idea in my head of the colour scheme I wanted on my magazine as I knew what kind of audience I wanted to attract. I then applied these colours on my creation throughout.
